Writing them or requesting them. I share the ins and outs in this workshop.
When I studied Project Management, I knew I wanted to use it to streamline my own processes. I took notes, studied the entire system, and then selected the best of what I learned to design my process. Now I not only use it for my personal writing projects, but I enjoy teaching about it, setting up systems for publishers and writers, and giving advice and consulting to help creatives like me track their projects.
I direct Superstars Writing Seminars, a world class writing conference, once a year and I love it. I also teach workshops there, including Press Releases and Reviews, Crafting Villains, and Project Management for Writers. I am a panelist at several conferences and conventions such as DragonCon, 20Books Vegas, and Mile Hi Con. I really love helping other writers.
"I'm a hard sell when it comes to chills. I write scary stuff for a living and, let's face it, we live in scary times, but THE WITCHER CHIME raised some goosebumps. Mainly because Marie Whittaker knows how to craft characters you care about. And if you become emotionally connected to the characters, you feel their feelings and share their sense of threat. Overall...a fine read for a creepy night!"
—Jonathan Maberry –NY Times Bestseller
“With SCALES, newcomer Marie Whittaker kicks off the exciting new FATE AND FIRE series in a big way. Wild, creepy, and deeply imaginative dark fantasy. Highly recommended.”
—Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author of V-WARS and GLIMPSE
"Marie Whittaker's novels will hold you spellbound from the first page to the last. Wise and witty, Amity proves she is a talent to watch!"
—David Farland, New York Times Bestselling Author
"Marie Whittaker proves that there's still room for invention in urban fantasy. Leave it to a Texas Gargoyle in London to teach us what it means to be human."
—D.J. Butler. Author of Witchy Eye
"Lola Hopscotch is a wonderful and important book. Learning about bullying at an early age is crucial for healthy and happy kids. Everyone needs this book!"
—Jonathan Maberry, NY Times bestselling author
"Lola Hopscotch and the First Day of School is a wonderful tool for parents to help teach their children that it's okay to be different and help open a conversation with their child about issues they may face in school and everyday life! It's a quick, easy read that will keep a child's attention and sends a message that we can ALL relate to. I highly recommend this book and look forward to many more of Marie's stories for OUR kids!"
